Visited downtown Las Vegas lately? If so, you’ll have noticed quite a few changes taking place. The city of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency has played a pivotal role in helping the positive momentum currently occurring in our urban core, including almost $18 billion worth of projects in various stages of planning and development. The Historic Fifth Street School (once also known as the Las Vegas Grammar School) recently returned to life. This historic Vegas landmark officially reopened as a downtown cultural arts center on Sept. 22, 2008.
